14 Days EBC Kalapatthar Trek (Nov 04-Nov 17 2012)
Everest Base Camp(EBC) Trek lets you to one of the most epic experiences you can witness in adventuring. This trek that incorporates the most beautiful scenery of the Himalayas and, on top just in front of you gazing at the majestic world's highest Mount Everest (29,028 ft), is simply indescribable. Named the world's top trekking route, we'd say doing this would be worth it.
With a short flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, your trip starts as we land at the tiny Lukla airstrip. Then the trek goes on for several days. During the trek you will see the unique culture, lifestyles of the native himalayan people, the SHERPAS. Their culture is worth seeing and is clearly evident during the trek since you will pass by many sherpa homes. All big monasteries and little Chortens you will pass by are what presents you of their spiritual heritage and tradition. Views of Mount Everest and Ama Dablam, the most beautiful mountains are always on your view as you trek uphill. You will spend a day at Namche Bazaar, a little sherpa hustle bustle marketplace. It will be interesting for you to see sherpa market products and alongside their handicrafts too. This is a great time exploring and rest for a while. For the most part the purpose of this stop is for you to acclimatize to the altitude.
